---- JACCC AutumnFest Auction List Grows

American Airlines, Keio Plaza, Panasonic, Lexus, Japanese Festival Sounds highlight items for September 16th, live auction.

The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) is pleased to announce the additions of a Lexus GS 300, an American Airlines Business trip to Japan with stay at the Keio Plaza Tokyo, a Panasonic 42" Plasma TV with Home Theater System, a Chamber Concert, Japanese Festival Sounds Workshop/performance, and more for the live portion of the 19th Annual AutumnFest.

Taking place on Friday, September 16 from 6 p.m. at the JACCC plaza in Little Tokyo, the live auction will accompany an evening of music by Kenny Endo and the Kitsune Taiko Group and gourmet obento. Little Tokyo Auto Leasing and Sales will have a Lexus GS 300 for viewing.

American Airlines offers two, round-trip Business-class tickets to Japan, where the winners receive a three-night stay at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo. In addition are two First class tickets to New York with winners staying at the Buckingham Hotel across from Carnegie Hall.

Los Angeles Philharmonic Oboist Anne Marie Gabriele and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra Cellist Trevor Handy have donated a program of Chamber Music featuring the music of world-renowned film composer Toru Takemitsu (Ran, Dodes'ka-Den, Harakiri).

From the restaurant Maison Akira, a Kaiseki Omakase, 10-course tasting menu with champagne and wines is offered for 6 people. For your party of four, a 6-course tasting with wine pairing, will be personally prepared by Chef Glen Ishii of Noe' Restaurant at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel. Also available for bidding is a package for four, front row dugout seats to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks! A complimentary buffet will be served before the game. Also included will be in-seat waiter/waitress service with complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverages, a no-host cocktail service and preferred parking. AutumnFest is a benefit dinner and auction in support of JACCC's ongoing cultural programs, performances and exhibits. Proceeds from AutumnFest 2005 will benefit the JACCC and help ensure the future of its educational programs, performances, exhibits and activites and its very important role as a center for the Little Tokyo community.
