For over
20 years, the Japanese American & Community
Center (JACCC) has presented the annual Children's
Day Festival in celebration of the Japanese traditional
holiday, Kodomo no Hi.
The festival reflects the culture of Japan and Hawaii
through arts and craft activities, food, music, and games.
This free, public event attracts families and children from
throughout the Greater Los Angeles area every year.
Attendance is
expected to reach over 10,000 for 2005,
giving companies the chance to reach a valuable target
audience. Family FunFest involves families with children
ranging in age 4 to 12, parents & relatives, volunteers
from college campuses across Southern
California,
and
community organizations from Little Tokyo - each of
these audiences is reached through extensive
marketing efforts executed by the JACCC.
