Join us for our first “art happening” with the celebration of three sacred trees in Little Tokyo. These trees have been standing as pillars of the Little Tokyo community for over 130 years, making them the longest standing entities in the area. Featured artists include: Mme. Ikuta, Mr. Kitajima, Ms. Palter, Ikenobo, and Urasenke. Each “art happening” will include Kado, Sado, and Shodo (Ikebana, Tea, and Calligraphy) celebrating the longevity and sustainable livelihood of these trees in Little Tokyo.
