Description

n/soto, a California Japanese Izakaya with a focus on market driven product, will pop-up for a temporary residency at JACCC’s brand new Toshizo Watanabe Culinary Cultural Center prior to opening in Mid City LA later this fall. The team from n/soto, led by Chef Yoji Tajima (Yojisan Sushi, Sushi House Unico), will create a tasting menu that provides a preview of the various dishes, flavors, and concepts that will appear on n/soto’s menu. Dinner will be served in JACCC’s Toshizo Watanabe Culinary Cultural Center, directly adjacent to the beautiful James Irvine Japanese Garden where you will be able to enjoy a beverage al fresco before sitting down for dinner.

We hope to highlight our local Japanese American community by immersing diners in a unique culinary experience right here in Downtown LA’s Little Tokyo. Together, we aim to tie together local cultural connections and tell stories that highlight the community.

Information

  1. Proof of vaccination or a negative covid test taken within 3 days of the event will be required upon check-in at the JACCC Center Building Lobby.
  2. n/soto will be open most Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
  3. Two seatings are available: 5:30 pm or 8:30 pm Arrival & Welcome Cocktail.
  4. Reservations can be made for a maximum of 6 guests.
  5. Reservations for an available date are released 21 days prior to said date everyday at 11 am. Example: At 11 am on September 2, tickets for both seatings on September 22 are released.
  6. Reservations are finalized by the purchase of a ticket.
  7. Tickets are non-refundable and must be paid for in advance.
  8. Your ticket includes a welcome beverage and a nine-course tasting menu.
  9. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
  10. Proceeds for all beverages will benefit JACCC.
  11. Gratuities are not included in the ticket price and can be added during the reservation.
  12. If you are unable to make your reservation, you can reschedule for another day, or transfer the reservation to another guest through Resy. If you need assistance with this process, please email info@n-soto.com.
