JACCC Volunteers

We are indebted to our volunteers who have helped us with many of our community festivals and cultural events over the years. We are continually looking for volunteers who are willing to donate their time and hard work to many of these special events that wouldn't be possible without their support.

What: Shikishi Exhibit Prep and Kotohajime prep
When: December 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, and/or 29th 11 AM - 4 PM
Where: JACCC, Center Building, Doizaki Gallery and Aratani Theatre, 244 S. San Pedro St. Los Angeles, CA 90012

Details: JACCC is looking for 15-20 volunteers over the course of 5 days to lend a hand with our annual Shikishi Exhibition installation and Kotohajime production preparations. Those interested in art gallery installation and stage production should consider volunteering for these opportunities!

What: Puttin' On the Ritz New Year's Eve Dance Party

Details: JACCC is looking for 10 volunteers to help with registration, setup, selling raffle tickets, and cleanup. We are looking for folks with experience in customer service and those who wouldn't mind kicking off the New Year with JACCC! Volunteers will have the opportunity to break for dinner, dance, and toast for the New Year. JACCC will provide dinner and refreshments.

What: Kotohajime
When: Sunday January 8th 11 AM - 2 PM & 2 PM - 4 PM
Where: JACCC, Aratani Theatre, 244 S. San Pedro St. Los Angeles, CA 90012

Details: JACCC is looking for volunteers to help with two different shifts. 11 AM - 2 PM volunteers need to be 21+ and will be helping with setup, sake pouring/distributing, and afternoon logistic support. 2 PM - 4 PM volunteers can be any age and will be helping with Kotohajime post-production logistics.

Gallery Volunteers

The George J. Doizaki Gallery is the site for more than 13 exhibitions per year, from traditional to contemporary arts. JACCC is looking for volunteers to work as gallery monitors and also to help with the set-up of many of our unique exhibits.
