From assisting with hands-on serving and clean up, culinary volunteers must be willing to undertake a short food service training course. Volunteers are needed for classes and demonstrations and will work with staff on various program needs.

May 5th marks a special occasion in Japan as Kodomo no Hi (子供の日), or Children’s Day, is celebrated throughout the country. JACCC embraces this holiday by presenting an exciting celebration that weaves together Japanese and Japanese American traditions into a fun-filled day event for children of all ages.
